Some places stay with you long after you’ve left them.
For us, Abbot Kinney is one of those places.
Before it was a candle, Abbot Kinney was a feeling — a rhythm, a calm, an energy that shaped both of our lives in different ways, at different moments, but always with the same pull toward the West Side of Los Angeles.
Our newest candle, Abbot Kinney, is our way of capturing that feeling. A scent inspired by Venice Beach, grounded in memory, and anchored by palo santo — cleansing, familiar, and effortlessly cool.

A West Side Beginning
Our story starts in Los Angeles.
Wendolyn, co-founder of All Day Santé, was born and raised in LA, growing up in the Hollywood Hills but always feeling a quiet calling toward the West Side. After graduating from USC, she began her career in entertainment at Harvey Entertainment and soon found herself living in one of LA’s most iconic buildings — the Clownerina apartments, a Venice landmark known to anyone who truly knows the city.
It was there that she fell in love with Venice Beach — not just as a place, but as a way of life. The creativity, the edge, the laid-back confidence. And especially Abbot Kinney Boulevard, where art, fashion, food, and community intersect in a way that feels distinctly West Coast.
As life evolved, Wendolyn eventually moved south to Newport Beach to raise her children. But Venice never left her.

Passing the Feeling Down
Although Lexi grew up in Newport Beach, she was raised to adore the same cool, effortless city energy her mother had fallen in love with years earlier.
Abbot Kinney became a place of shared memories — day trips spent shopping, wandering, and eating at classic Venice spots like Abbot’s Pizza Company (still the best salad pizza, by the way). These trips weren’t about rushing or planning — they were about being present, soaking it all in, and feeling inspired.
Lexi later followed in her mother’s footsteps, becoming a Trojan herself. After graduating from USC, she moved to West LA and began working at Pixi, where her passion for beauty, skincare, and wellness truly took shape. Once again, the West Side became the backdrop for growth, creativity, and self-discovery.
Even as life eventually carried both founders away from LA, the feeling of the West Side — and Abbot Kinney in particular — never faded.

Searching for the Scent of a Place
Years later, Wendolyn and Lexi found themselves on a familiar hunt: trying to find a candle that truly smelled like the West Side.
Not a literal ocean breeze.
Not something overly floral or sweet.
But something grounding. Clean. Familiar.
Something that felt like walking down Abbot Kinney — calm but cool, relaxed but intentional.
That search led us to palo santo.

Why Palo Santo
Palo santo has long been used for cleansing and grounding — a ritual for fresh starts and quiet resets. It has a warm, woody depth that feels comforting without being heavy, and powerful without being overwhelming.
Paired with calming chamomile and herbal sage, palo santo became the anchor of this candle — the note that tied everything together.
As we worked through the formulation, something clicked.
The scent felt familiar.
It felt lived-in.
It felt like Abbot Kinney.
Not just the street — but the memories, the movement, and the sense of calm creativity that defined that chapter of our lives.
A New-Year Reset, West Coast Style
Abbot Kinney is more than a candle. It’s a reset.
It’s lighting something that feels grounding at the start of a new year.
It’s creating space for clarity, creativity, and calm.
It’s bringing a piece of the West Side into wherever you are now.
Even though neither of us lives in Los Angeles anymore, this candle keeps that energy close — a reminder that certain places shape who we become, no matter how far life takes us.
Light It and You’ll Understand
Abbot Kinney smells like a place you’ve been before — even if you can’t quite name it.
Grounding. Cleansing. Effortlessly cool.
A love letter to the West Side, poured by hand and meant to be part of your everyday rituals.
✨ Meet Abbot Kinney.
